Are we alone in the universe?
On, NASA’s website, it states that there is no proof of extraterrestrial beings outside earth. Scientists to this day, are still trying to find out if we are alone or not.
The silence in the universe due to lack of proof of extraterrestrial beings is called, by scientists, the Fermi Paradox. But, I don’t think that we’re alone in this universe, since the universe is big, and there is lots of potential for outer space creatures to live.
The reason why I think of this is because, the Universe is infinite, so big that numbers can’t even explain how big the universe is. It would be crazy, if there wouldn’t be a single piece of life form that’s not from earth. That means, space would be a barren piece of land, like a desert.
A reason, why we might not be able to find proof of other-worldly species, is because we are too isolated from planets with life. It’s like if we were an island in the middle of the Pacific Ocean. We don’t have the funding and money to send ships and people to explore, and it would cost a lot of time to travel to planets, even if traveled at light-speed fast.
Theory 2
The most likely theory is that we are simply living alone in the universe. Planets that would be similar to our earth, except that they would have climates that wouldn’t be able to sustain life. We would, find out in the later years, that we are alone in the universe since there is no unique planet out there that can hold life. This could explain why not yet, we can find no living sources out there and why we are struggling to find life sources. But, some planets have water which technically is a living source since beings can live in water and thrive, but space is an unlivable place and not that much creatures can survive. It would be a big deal if we were alone in the universe though, since the earth is a one of a kind planet.
Theories: Theory 1
An interesting theory, and is what most likely is happening right now, is that we are being watched by a super civilization.
I know, it sounds pretty insane that we are being watched by aliens, otherwise, we would have seen them by now. But, they could be spying on us, Incase we start on doing an intergalactic invasion of the universe in the future. (Likely, since what we did colonizing countries). There have been claims of UFOs, which could be extra-terrestrial species, monitoring us, incase we go out of control.
You might be asking. If they were more advanced than us? Why wouldn’t they show themselves? Well, to the answer that, it can define if they are a friendly civilization, or a dictator civilization trying to take over space. Example, if they weren’t hostile, we’d already have proof of aliens watching us already, and they might have attacked us a long time ago. Scientists this day are still trying to find proof of species that are not from this earth, and there have been some planets out there that can withstand life such as Kepler-452b, which is a planet exactly like earth and has potential to hold life. It still remains of the greatest astronomical discoveries. An extraterrestial being doesn’t have to be like in the movies; an alien. But it can just be a bacteria or even a plant
