GameChanger Winnipeg
What is GameChanger?
GameChanger is a free machine-learning platform that analyzes basketball stats for every player on a team to help coaches determine what their players need to improve. Local sports teams don’t get the same privileges as professional teams do. So most coaches don’t use any analytical tools. But with GameChanger, smaller teams can access these tools without cost so that they too can increase their wins.

Our Mission
We aim to help youth basketball teams improve their performance, refine their game strategies, improve decision-making skills, and, most importantly, help everyone on the team feel included and recognized.
It’s not about how many points one player makes, but their hard work and dedication to the sport.

Antawn Omerez
Project Leader and Founder
Antawn was the main applicant for the Youth Innovation Impact Challenge and is the founder of GameChanger. He wanted his tool to reach more youth groups in his city, Winnipeg, so he collaborated with 2 other people to get his idea across to the local community.

Mischka has the same passion for technology as Antawn. One day, when she was contemplating how she could start her programming path, she came across Antawn looking for a video editor. Using her skills in editing, graphic design, and art, she won the hearts of the people with her evocative storytelling and curiosity-spiking visuals.
